On visual examination, the richness of this wine is apparent in its pretty golden robe The nose is musky and spicy initially then opens with aromas of dried raisins, medlar and quince Finishing after some aeration with notes of apple and pineapple The palate is generous and weighty Luscious and powerful, the mid palate gives notes of honey, ripe almost compote fruits and subtle oak The finish shows an explosion of citrus flavour that gives length and vibrancy.
