Rampante, one of the 4 Contrade in which we live and work, is located at an average elevation of 740 meters a.s.l., between Solicchiata and Passopisciaro. It is an area of 4.6 hectares of vineyards, with large dry-stone wall terraces and a degrading morphology from South-East to North-East with an average slope of 4.7%. The territory where the vineyards of the Contrada Rampante are located is characterized by volcanic formations of different lithological characterization but belonging to the same time period (between 15 thousand and 4 thousand years).
